Pr3+:YLF crystal has been found to be a promising laser material for producing visible lasers directly and UV lasers through intracavity second-harmonic generation. Under LD pump with wavelength of 444 nm, Pr: YLF Crystal has five relatively strong absorption peaks, which are 523 nm, 604 nm, 640 nm, 698 nm and 720 nm respectively. Among them, 570 to 620 nm laser light source has many applications in environmental and medical fields. The laser with 720 nm Pr: YLF Crystal doubling frequency into 360 nm wavelength through nonlinear crystal has also made great contribution to the micro manufacturing industry.
